I played that game.
I thought it was annoying.
EDIT: Except for that part were I hit on that chick in Shady Sands, and she told me to fuck a cow, so I murdered the whole town. Ahh, walking through town, shooting everyone in the street- including dogs. Walking into house, blowing way one kid with the shot gun, shoot the other with a machine gun. Give their father who is sick in bed a pistol round to the head. Ah, good times, good times.

Today was my last day at the (former) BIS, as it was for my whole team. I just wanted to say farewell to the best fans in the industry, and thanks for all the great feedback and support. I don't know where I'll end up, but know that we were all avid gamers and wanted to make the PC games that not only we wanted to play, but also the fans. But this isn't goodbye. Puuk will still flow through various boards (even this one, but without the BIS logo), and I still look forward to shooting ideas back and forth with my fellow gamers.

Oh god. I'm going to cry. I can't say that with the tears in my eyes. I can't believe they did that right before the holidays. Baldur's gate, fallout, every good game ... their god is dead, murdered.
I don't think I will ever buy interplay again or encourage anyone else to. I don't think anyone else here who really cared should. I think they have already sealed their fate, but it must be carried out like it was meant to.

But J. E. Sawyer/rope kid bailed last month. This is just the rest of the studio getting the axe because they didn't make the wisdom check on Nov. 7 when the SA forums got the scoop:

Just so you know, Black Isle did not make Baldur's Gate, they published it. Bioware made the game as well as the infinity engine, which they licensed to Black Isle for the Icewind Dale games.
Too bad they made Neverwinter Nights instead of another excellent Baldur's Gate style game. Perhaps KOTOR will redeem them, but I'm skeptical until I play it.
